Studio Policies & Requirements

Our studio follows guidelines put in place by our local health department and our insurance company. Please read below before scheduling your appointment.

I.D. Requirements (18+)

If your ID does not have your photo or is expired, we cannot accept it for your appointment and you will be charged a cancellation fee.

Clients are required to bring a state or federally issued photo ID that gets photo copied onto your release form. This must be a physical card with your photo (no copies), not expired, and be presented at each visit with our studio. If you forget your ID or it is expired, you will be charged a cancellation fee.

Acceptable state or federally issued ID’s include:

  • State ID Card
  • Driver’s License
  • Driver’s Permit
  • Passport
  • Most Tribal IDs

We cannot accept military IDs since it is illegal to photo copy them, which is a requirement of our release form. School IDs, prison IDs, insurance, and social security cards are not acceptable forms of ID. If your ID does not have your photo or is expired, we cannot accept it for your appointment.

Minor I.D. Requirements (14-17 years old)

Minors (14-17) are required to bring the following documentation to be pierced or receive a jewelry change:

  • Photo I.D. for Minor (see acceptable ID’s listed above)
  • Birth Certificate(or custody papers if applicable)
  • Parent/Legal Guardianwith Photo I.D. (see acceptable ID’s listed above)

Birth certificates and IDs must be brought in for each visit to fill out our release form, we do not keep them on file.

The parent that is signing for you must be listed on your Birth Certificate. If your legal guardian is not on your Birth Certificate, we require the original court paperwork assigning custody.

We do not accept Power of Attorney in place of the birth certificate/custody paperwork.

Minor Earlobe Requirements (6-17 years old)

If a minor is only getting earlobe piercings, or a jewelry change on earlobes, we only require two documents

  • Birth Certificate(or custody papers if applicable)
  • Parent/Legal Guardianwith Photo I.D. (see acceptable ID’s listed above)

Who Can Be In the Piercing Room?

For clients ages 6-17, the parent or guardian signing the release form is allowed in the piercing room. All other guests including family, friends, and other children, must remain in the lobby.

For clients 18+, all guests must remain in the lobby while you are back in the piercing room. This applies to friends, family and children. If you do not have someone to watch your child or they cannot be left alone for the duration of your appointment, we will need to cancel and reschedule for another time. Our staff is not responsible for watching over minors.

How should I prepare for my piercing appointment?

  • Ensure you have proper identification with you. If you have questions on acceptable ID’s please give us a call or email us prior to booking your appointment. If you come to your appointment without proper documentation, you will be charged a cancellation fee as we will not be able to service you.
  • Eat food within 4 hours before getting a new piercing. If you have not eaten within the 4 hours leading up to your appointment we cannot pierce you.
  • Limit caffeine intake.
  • Get good sleep because you are important!

Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes unexpected delays can occur, making schedule adjustments. If you need to cancel your appointment, we respectfully request at least a 3 hour notice.

Our Policy:

  • Any cancellation made less than 3 hours from the start of your appointment time will result in the cancellation fee agreed to at the time of booking.
  • If you are more than 10 minutes late for your service or do not have proper documentation, we will not be able to accommodate you. This will result in the cancellation fee agreed to at the time of booking.
  • Cancellation fees will be charged to the card on file used to book the appointment. If your card is declined, you will be required to pay the due cancellation fee before receiving future services at our studio.

No Call, No Show Policy

When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other clients. Because our studio is by appointment only at this time it is important to notify us if you will not be able to make it in. Clients that no call, no show to their appointment will be charged their full piercing service fee to the card on file.

All sales are final. No returns or exchanges.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at anytime.

COVID-19 Protocols

Self-Screening

All clients must self-screen for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 before arriving. If you or anyone in your household are displaying any of the following symptoms, please reschedule your appointment. Symptoms include but are not limited to, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell.
